Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary: 

Quality Assurance Analyst reports to the Senior Director, Quality Management, and is responsible for performing QA activities to support our products and releases. The Analyst should have strong critical thinking skills and must be a team player to learn and analyze the software under test. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Review complex requirements to identify testing scenarios.   

  • Participate in requirement walkthrough sessions and provide feedback.  

  • Plan, track, and report on QA tasks for projects and enhancements to stakeholders.  

  • Develop test strategy and testing approach. Create and execute test cases for front-end  

  • scenarios and service layer testing scenarios from API specs.   

  • Maintain requirement traceability to map requirements to test cases.  

  • Facilitate review of test plan and test cases with cross-functional team members.  

  • Identify test cases for regression testing. Develop and maintain test data for regression testing.  

  • Work closely with automation team to guide the development of automation suite.   

  • Participate in peer review of automation scripts. Coordinate testing activities within the team.  

  • Execute manual tests for functional, integration, responsive, regression, and end-to-  

  • end testing. Report on test executions and test coverage.  

  • Identify, isolate, and report on defects, and validate fixes.  

  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and weekly team meetings to inform on testing tasks.  

  • Adhere to QA best practices and methodologies.  

  • Open to learning new technologies.  

  • Work with project team to prioritize tasks to consistently meet release schedule.  

  • Develop product knowledge and regularly present to the team.  

  • Any other duties as assigned. 

Skills:

 

  • Knowledge of software quality assurance concepts and the testing lifecycle.   

  • Skilled in maintaining test plans for configured and customized SaaS products.   

  • Understanding of agile methodologies and a mindset of continuous improvement.   

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.   

  • Expertise in using ticket tracking system and bug reporting.    

  • Knowledge of test automation methodologies.   

  • Dedication to quality and ability to develop subject matter expertise in the application to identify gaps in requirements 

Education & Experience Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on Functional Analysis and Testing of complex platforms.   

  • At least 1-2 years of proven track record testing of applications.  

Preferred Experience Requirements

Education:  

  • Bachelor's Degree

Hiring Range:

$67,000.00 - $77,500.00
